Something's Gotta Give

When we first started talking about building a house on the farm, Tony began drawing out some plans incorporating ideas that we both liked. A major influence on these plans was the beautiful house shown in the movie Something's Gotta Give. We had watched the movie dozens of times and admired the exterior and interior. Tony did some research and found out that the exterior was a real house in the Hamptons. The interiors were a set, so Tony went about trying to draw it out as best he could.

We loved everything about this house...the look, the feel, the decor...you get the picture. And speaking of pictures, I was so in awe of the Kenton Nelson paintings that were displayed throughout the film, I decided to paint one myself. I hope to use it somewhere in our home.

The next step was taking these plans that Tony had drawn out  to the architect. We were anxious
to see if our vision vision could become a reality.

Until tomorrow...
